According to recent rumors, it might be time for a new Monica Lewinsky in the world of US politics. And believe it or not, French paparazzo Pascal Rostain made the bizarre statement that it’s Beyoncé. Beyoncé’s representative was quick to dismiss any rumors, calling the romance between the superstar and the US President Barack Obama absurd.
The French paparazzo shocked not only gossip bloggers in Europe, but the world over, during an interview when he said, “You know, at this time, in the United States, there is something big that is happening. It’ll go out tomorrow in the Washington Post… an alleged affair between President Barack Obama and Beyoncé.”
The US newspapers denied any such articles, and now it was officially confirmed by the singer’s spokesperson that any such allegation is complete nonsense.
Moreover, Pascal now insists his comment was made in jest, which is not that hard to believe, since the interview was used as a means to promote his new memoir and attract attention.
It’s no secret that Beyoncé and Jay Z are good friends with the presidential couple since their campaign for the White House in 2008, but Pascal’s comment did go a bit too far.

“I’ve gotten to know these guys over the first several years of my presidency. They’re good people. Beyoncé could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends,” said the President in 2012.
